A strong message of hope and resilience in ‘May Bukas Pa’ was the most applauded, (a cover song originally sung by Rico Puno) was sung by lead singer Juliet Sunot beautifully along with other hits songs : ‘HALIK’, ‘LUHA’, ‘BASANG BASA SA ULAN’, ‘SINTA’ ..that really hyped rocked the audience wildly, singing along freely .

AEGIS Band, the hottest and most powerful all female plus one male rock band raized the roof of the Metropolis Fremantle night club last August 10 in Perth, Western Australia.

AEGIS, literary connotes a "Shield" or "Protection" from the Greek Mythology used by Zeus (Greek father of gods).

Who are Aegis band members? Exploring the group as vocalist Mercy Sunot passes away
Mercy Sunot, a longtime vocalist of the rock band Aegis, passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 48. While the official cause of her death has not been confirmed, she was battling breast and lung cancer and underwent lung surgery a day prior to her passing.
In a TikTok video, she shared details about her health struggles, mentioning issues with breathing that required immediate ICU admission. Her lungs were reportedly filled with fluid and inflamed, according to Billboard Philippines.
Apart from Mercy, Aegis members include Juliet Sunot, Ken Sunot, Rey Abenoja, Stella Pabico, Rowena Adriano, and Vilma Goloviogo. The band expressed their sorrow in a heartfelt post on their official Facebook page, accompanied by a black-and-white photo of Mercy.

We're faced with all the 6 members of the Aegis Band, five girls and a man, whom the girls tease as already being like one of them. Of course, they're just kidding. It's nothing more than long years of close friendship and togetherness… close to ten years to be exact.
It's hard to believe that a musical group could last this long in the business of making music, travelling to foreign shoes, sharing rooms, food, stories and lives. But that's the reality. The band has truly become a family after years of shared experiences. Furthermore, they are not merely a family. Due to the potpourri of native roots within the band, the AEGIS members also seem to represent the three major islands of the Philippines.
Juliet and Mercy Sunot, the lead vocalists, come all the way from Cagayan de Oro. Stella is from Misamis Occidental. Vilma Goloviogo's from
