Morag Smith
Morag Smith is a Canadiantelevision comedian, who with her husband Steve Smith, performed as a comedy duo in several television series.
Steve and Morag Smith began their professional partnership with the sketch comedy series Smith & Smith in 1979. The show was produced for six seasons by the Smiths' production company, and aired on Hamilton, Ontario television station CHCH and other Canadian television stations through syndication. Although there were occasional extras, Steve and Morag played almost all the characters on the show.
In 1986, the series evolved into Me & Max, a family sitcom which brought the Smiths' two children into the cast. Steve and Morag Smith, however, played all the adult roles in the series, through split-screen photography. This show was produced for one season, and then Steve and Morag returned to sketch comedy with The Comedy Mill until 1991.
Following the end of The Comedy Mill, Morag retired from active performing as Steve went on to produce The Red Green Show.Template:Canada-bio-stub

Smith & Smith is a Canadian sketch comedy series, which aired from 1979 to 1986 on Hamilton, Ontario's CHCH-TV, and through syndication on other Canadian television stations.[1] The show starred the husband and wife comedy duo of Steve Smith and Morag Smith.[2]
Recurring sketches included a judge, played by Morag, while Steve's characters included William Shakespeare and a preacher. Sketches also included "The Kids' Show", a Polka Dot Door parody in which the hosts constantly bickered and insulted each other, and a sketch set in a bakery, in which Morag played the male front counter attendant and Steve played the female baker. Each show also included a humorous musical number, performed in costume, focusing on a famous couple in history, as well as a mailbag segment.

What is place? What is it that changes a landscape from a scenic view to somewhere that has a sense of the known? Through an exploration of time and personal experience, thinking about how I came to know the North West Highlands and Islands has enabled me to give definition to my sense of this landscape as place.
Distilling this sense of knowing the landscape from place into final pieces is driven by a process-led practice, where one step leads to another, with accidental discoveries along the way, creating a highly experimental mix. With intuition as my guide, and following where the process leads, I use photography, found text, found materials and printmaking. In current work this has led to the industrial materials of concrete, resin, plaster and paints, which, combined with found moulds, allow for the creation of one-off casts.
The physicality of making the works is paramount to the overall process, and links back to the physicality of coming to know the landscape. Emerging from this dynamic process, these works reflecting place hint at minimalism juxtaposed with an
