Favre was named the NFL's Most Valuable Player for three consecutive seasons between 1995 and 1997, which are the first three seasons he and Pederson spent together in Green Bay.

All in all, they spent eight seasons together and won division titles in six of those years.

After spending different parts of his career with Marino, Favre and McNabb, Pederson remembers how some of the best to ever do it prepared for their craft.

Douglas Irvin Pederson (born January 31, 1968) is an American professional football coach and former quarterback who was the head coach for the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He spent most of his 13-season career as a backup to Brett Favre on the Green Bay Packers, where he was a member of the team that won Super Bowl XXXI. Pederson was also a backup to Dan Marino on the Miami Dolphins and a starter for the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns until retiring in 2004.

Pederson began his coaching career under Andy Reid, serving as an assistant for the Eagles from 2009 to 2012. After Reid became the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013, Pederson followed him to serve as the Chiefs' offensive coordinator. Doug Pederson is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the head coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars since 2022. During this time period, the Jaguars compiled a 22-29-0 record. During his career he was a head coach for eight seasons, first with the Philadelphia Eagles. He led the Eagles for five seasons, compiling a record of 42-37-1. In 2017, the Eagles won the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots 41-33. He was fired from the Eagles on Monday, January 11, 2021. Pederson's final season with the Eagles had significant quarterback troubles as Carson Wentz regressed from his prior seasons.
