Since World War I, six players have made their major-league debut before their 17th birthday. Alex George, the sixth-youngest when he debuted on September 16, 1955, at the age of 16 years, 11 months, 19 days, has the distinction of being the only one to make his first and last major-league appearance before his 17th birthday.
George’s major-league career took up just nine days of his nine-year professional baseball career.
Alex George was born to Alex George Sr. and Elizabeth George in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 27, 1938. The elder George worked for the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department and was the athletic director for the Kansas City Catholic Youth Organization. He was also the head of officials for the Big Eight Conference. His mother was a homemaker to the family, which included daughter Janice.

Alexander George Karras (July 15, 1935 – October 10, 2012) was an American professional football player, professional wrestler, sportscaster, and actor.[1] He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection playing defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL), where he played from 1958 to 1970. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the Centennial class.

Alexander Albon Ansusinha (Thai: อเล็กซานเดอร์ อัลบอน อังศุสิงห์; RTGS: Aleksandoe Anbon Angsusing, pronounced[ʔàléksaːndɤːʔanbɔːnʔaŋsùʔsǐŋ]; born 23 March 1996) is a Thai and British racing driver, who competes under the Thai flag in Formula One for Williams.
Born in Westminster and raised in Suffolk, Albon is the son of English racing driver Nigel Albon and his Thai wife, as well as the nephew of Mark Albon. After a successful karting career—culminating in his victories at the junior direct-driveKarting World Cup and Karting European Championship in 2010—Albon graduated to junior formulae. Following three seasons in the Formula Renault Eurocup from 2012 to 2014, Albon progressed to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in 2015. He moved to the GP3 Series for 2016, finishing runner-up to Charles Leclerc in his rookie season with ART. Graduating to FIA Formula 2 in 2017, Albon finished third in the championship the following season with DAMS.
