Domenica Rita Adriana Bertè (Italian pronunciation:[doˈmeːnikaberˈtɛ]; 20 September 1947 – 12 May 1995), known professionally as Mia Martini (pronounced[ˈmiːamarˈtiːni]), was an Italian singer, songwriter and musician.[1][2] She is considered, by many experts,[3][4] one of the most important and expressive female voices of Italian music, characterised by her interpretative intensity and her soulful performance.

Her debut album, Oltre la collina with the song "Padre davvero" is regarded as one of the best Italian albums made by a female artist.[5] Hit songs like "Piccolo uomo", "Donna sola", "Minuetto", "Inno", "Al mondo", "Che vuoi che sia se t'ho aspettato tanto", "Per amarti" and "La costruzione di un amore" made her one of the most popular artists of Italian music in the 1970s, both nationally and internationally. Pierre Raleau dit Vaillant, the son of Philippe Raleau and Jacquette Lhéritier, was born in Mauprévoir, Vienne, France. He was baptized "Pantaléon" on April 16, 1663, in the parish of St-Impère. Today, the village is home to about 600 residents.

Though his exact arrival isn't known, Pierre was in New France by 1688.

Nicole Croisille (born 9 October 1936[1] in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France)[2] is a French singer and actress. She has appeared in 24 films between 1961 and 2005, and recorded several albums since 1961.

Perhaps her most heard work is on the soundtrack of 1966 film, A Man and a Woman (Un Homme et Une Femme).[3] She sang one solo, "Today It's You," and dueted with Pierre Barouh on several other numbers.[3]

Croisille attempted to represent France in the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 with the songs "Tu m'avais dit" and "Je t'aime un point c'est tout", but Dani was selected instead, although she did not participate due to Georges Pompidou's death being on the week in the contest. Her best-known records are "I'll Never Leave You"; "Telephone-Moi"; "Une Femme avec Toi"; "J'ai besoin de Toi, J'ai besoin de Lui"; and "Parlez-moi de Lui".

Her single, "Woman in Your Arms", peaked at number 71 in Australia in May 1976.[4]
